What has serving on the WTS Board of Directors meant to Pam?
I am aware that our world is in need, as perhaps in no other time, of leaders in our churches who will be fearless prophets, thoughtful theologians, and compassionate pastors. Serving on the WTS Board of Directors has meant that I have had the opportunity to be a part of a larger mission that is first and foremost committed to nurturing those very types of leaders. I have always been affiliated with a worshiping community, and have held many leadership positions in the congregations of which I have been a part. Through many places and circumstances I have cultivated a mindfulness of the importance of theological education and a commitment to the institutions and institutional partnerships which advance, through their particular missions, the gospel of God in Jesus Christ. This commitment has found its fullest expression in the opportunity to contribute to the particular ways Wartburg Seminary strives to be the church in higher education.
