Wartburg Seminary offers a variety of housing options to fit your individual needs at a significantly lower cost than comparable accommodations in Dubuque. Your monthly rental rate includes water, basic cable, high speed internet, local telephone service, gas, and electric (up to a monthly limit based upon housing unit). Our large residential population contributes to a lively community of study, worship, and fellowship.

Pet Policy:
Wartburg welcomes your furry family members as well. One dog, one cat, or two cats are allowed in designated units. A pet fee of $30 per month, per pet will be added to your monthly rent. For those with animal allergies, there are pet-free housing units available as well. For a complete pet policy, please contact Molly Weber or see the Student and Community Life Handbook.

Roommates:
If a student or students have a roommate that they desire to live with, those requests may be accommodated in a Blair Court House or a Pulpit Rock Apartment. Requests should be reflected on both parties housing application and will be fulfilled as space allows. Roommates will not be matched or assigned by the Wartburg Seminary Department for Vocation.

Housing Opportunities:

Residence Hall (RH):
The residence hall provides low cost housing for single students, students without pets or children, and commuter students. Residence hall rooms range from 165 square feet to 391 square feet and feature private en suite bathrooms, individual room temperature controls with central air, and access to a community kitchen, no cost laundry facilities, and other community facilities. Residence hall rooms come furnished with a single bed, dresser, desk and chair, and a bookcase.

Blair House Apartments:
Blair House features 20 one-bedroom efficiency apartments. They are an affordable option for single students, students with cats, and couples. Each 500 square foot apartment features a kitchen with range and refrigerator, access to no cost laundry facilities, a personal 35 square foot storage area in the basement of the building, and parking in front of the apartment complex. Please note: Wartburg Theological Seminary is reviewing all housing needs and available units. It is possible that the Blair Apartments will not be rented beyond the 2013-2014 academic year.

Pulpit Rock Apartments:
The Pulpit Rock apartment complex offers two bedrooms, 1 bathroom and three bedrooms, 1½ bathroom apartments. These are ideal for single students, couples, students and families with children, students and families with a dog or cat(s), and student roommates. All units include central air, washer and dryer hook-ups, 35 square feet of storage, and parking in front of the building. No cost laundry facilities and a brand new playground set are also located on the premises.

Blair Court Houses:
Lovingly referred to as the "monopoly houses" each of the Blair Court homes has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a full basement, and an attached single car garage. They provide housing for single students, couples, students and families with children, and students and families with a dog or cat(s). Blair Court homes are the only "stand alone" units housing units on campus.

Denver Court:
The Denver Court duplexes offer 1600 square feet of living space for students and families with one or more children. Some of the units allow for a dog or cat(s) as well. The homes are equipped with garbage disposals, dishwashers, walk-out basements with laundry hook-ups, and three levels of living space. They are also conveniently located next to Wartburg Seminary's Kinder Castle playground.
