Mission
The Center for Global Theologies serves to focus the commitments of Wartburg Theological Seminary to the global mission of the church, and to infuse those commitments into the programs and policies of the institution.

This happens through scholarly research, church linkages, and programmatic initiatives, developing financial resources toward those ends.

Global Lecture Series Fall 2012
The Center for Global Theologies is hosting a series of lectures throughout the fall:

GCT's Icelandic Pastors' Academy
Wartburg Seminary's Center for Global Theologies will host a continuing education academy for pastors from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Iceland on September 29 - October 5, 2012. The following events are open to the public:

October 3 at 7:00pm, "Kreppa: Reflections on Local Ministry and Economic Meltdown, 2008 - present."

Four Roundtable Luncheons: 12:30-1:30pm
October 1 - Youth Ministry in Iceland
October 2 - Ministry in Rural Iceland
October 3 - Women in Ministry
October 4 - Rise of and Response to Atheism
