Life-Long Learning Communities
A Re-Imagining of the South-Central Synod of Wisconsin's Lay School of Ministry
Through an innovative partnership between the South-Central Synod of Wisconsin and Wartburg Theological Seminary, we have undertaken a new, exciting endeavor for the equipping of God's people for discipleship in the rapidly changing world of the 21st century. Called "Daring to be Life-long Disciples," our new program seeks to develop a network of congregations and individuals throughout the synod committed to delivering quality lay educational opportunities that address current needs and interests by sending instructors to participants, rather than expecting participants to come to one location only.
Courses will be offered in a variety of formats - in retreat setting, on-line, and in congregations of the synod. We hope to build a network of life-long learning communities committed to equipping people to be followers of Jesus in their daily life and to be partners with God's mission to love and reconcile the world.
We've scheduled one on-site class for Spring 2014. Click here for information on this course.
