Wartburg Seminary recognizes the cost of preparing for service in the Church can seem overwhelming. Therefore, we are committed to assisting, advocating for and accompanying students as they steward financial resources and support throughout seminary.
Our Financial Aid Office, in cooperation with our Mission Support and Admissions Offices, works to provide a variety of grants, scholarships, loans, and employment opportunities for students in their educational preparation for ministry leadership in the ELCA.
Each year, our Office of Mission Support raises approximately $800,000 for financial aid to offset the cost of tuition for the majority of our students.
Eligibility
All students enrolled in a degree program and in good academic standing are eligible to apply for need-based financial aid. Annually, applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Wartburg Seminary Financial Aid application. Current and incoming students may request financial aid and scholarship information at any time by contacting the Financial Aid Office.
