Robert Sandoval is a self employed CPA. He currently serves on the Mission Investment Fund Board and the Lutheran Men In Mission Board of the ELCA. In addition, he serves on the Campus Ministry Board at the local university and the Lutheran Advocacy Board of New Mexico. In the past he has served on the Congregational Mission Board of the ELCA. He served as Synod Treasurer for 8 years, Synod Council Member for 18 Years, and Multicultural Ministries Committee of the Synod for 10 Years. He is also a member of the New Mexico Conference of Churches.
Robert resides in Albuquerque, NM where he attends All Saints Lutheran Church. He is a Past President of Kiwanis and certified by the ELCA to teach anti-racism workshops. This will be Robert’s tenth year serving on the board.
What has serving on the WTS Board of Directors meant to Robert?
I have learned more than I think I offer, and that is good. I have come away with a better understanding of how seminary education impacts the congregations and the ministry of the Church as a whole.
