Wartburg Theological Seminary Presents Advent at the Castle
DUBUQUE, IA – November 24, 2014 –The entire community is invited to attend Wartburg Theological Seminary’s (WTS) Advent at the Castle on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the WTS campus.
The afternoon will start at 2 p.m. with a Holiday Craft Fair in Weiblen where you can get a start on your Christmas shopping! Members of the Wartburg Seminary community will be offering unique handmade gifts, including hats, scarves, jewelry, bath salts, artwork, as well as homemade breads and other delicious foods. In addition, fair trade coffee, tea and chocolate will be available for purchase.
At 4 p.m. Advent Lessons will be held in the Loehe Chapel on the WTS campus followed by a reception and caroling ‘Round the Tree.’ The WTS community and members from area ELCA congregations have been invited to share their musical, artistic and creative gifts in the Advent at the Castle service. All are welcome to enjoy the celebration of Advent at Wartburg Theological Seminary and there is no charge to attend the event.
