Wartburg Theological Seminary participates in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements

Wartburg Theological Seminary is authorized to offer distance education programs to students in other states through its participation in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA).

Participation in NC-SARA allows Wartburg Theological Seminary to provide distance education to students in member states and territories without seeking individual authorization in each state.

SARA Student Complaint Process

Students are encouraged to resolve concerns or complaints by following Wartburg Theological Seminary’s internal Grievance and Appeals Procedure.

Wartburg Theological Seminary’s participation in NC-SARA authorizes the institution to operate under SARA policies and standards governing distance education in other member states and territories.

If a complaint cannot be resolved internally:

Students residing in Iowa may contact the Iowa Department of Education’s Bureau of Iowa College Aid: https://educate.iowa.gov/higher-ed/student-complaints.

Consumer Information

The United States Department of Education requires participants in Title IV Federal Funding Programs to disclose the following consumer information on our website and annually to enrolled and prospective students and our campus community.

The Wartburg Theological Seminary Annual Campus Safety and Security Report & Annual Fire Safety Report is published in September annually. This is in compliance with the Clery Act.  A full PDF of the report can be viewed online, or a paper copy can be requested from the Director of Financial Aid and Reporting.
