Mission Statement

Reu Memorial Library serves the mission of Wartburg Theological Seminary by supporting the educational activities of the institution; providing a place for independent and collaborative learning; collecting, preserving, organizing, and offering resources in a variety of formats; and teaching and equipping the Wartburg community for lifelong spiritual, intellectual, and personal learning.

Johann Michael Reu

The library is named after an early Wartburg Seminary professor, Johann Michael Reu. More information on him can be found here.

Writing Center

The Wartburg Seminary Writing Center is a valuable online resource for all on-campus and distance learning students, and is advantageous for writers of all skill levels.

30-minute consultations are available by appointment on the following days:
Tuesdays 7:00-9:00 PM
Wednesdays 7:00-9:00 PM
Thursdays 1:00-2:30 PM
Fridays 9:00-11:00 AM 
All sessions are conducted through Zoom.
Email Loretta (lhaskell@wartburgseminary.edu) to schedule an appointment.

Use the “Walk-In” option for your smaller questions about grammar, formatting, or citations. Skype message Loretta during WC hours using the Office365 Skype feature.
