Some of our current students wanted to share their experiences of CYC with you. Here is what they had to say:
“Anyone who is discerning their call to ministry should be at THIS weekend! Before I ventured to Wartburg, I expected that I would attend and then return home “back to life”. Boy was I wrong! From the moment I arrived on campus I felt that I had already become a member of the community! From the small group discussions to the tours of campus to the worship centered weekend, I could not have asked for a better experience! The staff at Wartburg puts all of their passion into their community, and it DEFINITELY shows!! This weekend was literally a life changing few days in my life and I am forever grateful that Considering Your Call gave me the jump start I needed to begin my journey into seminary at Wartburg! ‘”

“I attended the CYC weekend based on the recommendation of a pastor who had attended WTS. Participating in CYC helped me to answer a lot of questions regarding my own sense of call while also introducing me to Wartburg Seminary’s worship-centered community. Having the opportunity to spend time with dedicated and caring faculty and staff helped me to recognize that WTS was the place I was called to be. The key for me was actually coming to WTS. Living the WTS experience changed everything for me, due in large part to the fact that everyone at WTS took a genuine interest in the participants. I was especially impressed with the faculty and staff who engaged with us throughout the weekend. At WTS I felt valued as a future colleague in ministry whose gifts would be honed and called forth in a community of diverse individuals called to participate in God’s mission for the world.”
