Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician plays an essential role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained campus environment that supports the mission and ministry of Wartburg Theological Seminary. Working alongside the Facilities Director, this position provides hands-on support for campus buildings, student housing, chapel and ministry spaces, grounds, and daily operations. The ideal candidate is a dependable, service-minded team member who takes pride in maintaining spaces where students, faculty, staff, and guests learn, worship, gather, and live.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes by ensuring the campus remains functional, safe, and inviting for the entire Wartburg community. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and preventative care tasks while contributing to a culture of hospitality, stewardship, and excellence.

Vice President for Finance, Operations and Human Resources

The Vice President for Finance, Operations & Human Resources (VPFO/HR) serves as a key member of the President’s Cabinet and provides strategic leadership for the Seminary’s financial operational, and human resource functions. This role ensures fiscal integrity, operational effectiveness, and alignment with the Seminary’s mission and long-term sustainability, while serving as Treasurer to the Board of Directors and a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
