Paul K. Erbes

Erbes has served various roles within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and other Christian ministries. From 2014-2017 he served as a Major Gift Officer at Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS). Prior to his time at LIRS, he served as Chief Development Officer for Bello Machre from 2013-2014, as pastor and Mission Developer in congregations in Kansas, Colorado and Wyoming from 1983-2004, Congregation Relationship Manager with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans from 2004-2012, and is Executive Director of Generous Faith LLC, a consultation service to help congregations and organizations more effectively fulfill their mission.

He received his Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and his Bachelor of Arts from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. Erbes has completed advanced study through the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and Franklin Covey Leadership. In addition, he is a Certified Fund Raising Professional (CFRE), and a member of the Association of Lutheran Development Executives (ALDE), where he serves as a national instructor for people new to development science. He also serves as a mentor to support other Lutheran non-profit professionals, is the Chapter President for the mid-Atlantic area chapter of ALDE, is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and serves on the Board of Directors for Seafarers International, an ELCA ministry providing for seafarers, immigrants and asylum seekers.

Josh Guyer is native of Northeast Iowa, a graduate of Simpson College, and a double graduate of The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia earning a Master of Arts in Religion and a Master of Sacred Theology.  Before joining WTS Development, he worked in financial services at The Glenmede Trust Company in Philadelphia managing relationships with high net worth families and individuals as well as institutional non-profit endowments and foundations.

Diane Brondyke Diane Brondyke

Diane Brondyke has been involved in the ministry of development for the past 15 years. Prior to coming to Wartburg, Diane worked for the Alzheimer’s Association, the Sisters of Charity, BVM (Dubuque, Iowa) and the Sisters of the Presentation (Dubuque). Diane was born and raised in Guttenberg, Iowa and is an alumna of Iowa State University. She also holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from The Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University. Diane is the proud mother of three daughters.

Kim Kim Weigman

Kim has been with the Mission Support Department since April 2004. Her first position in Development was Gifts Processing Coordinator. Since then Kim has served in many roles within the department and is currently serving as Development Administrator.  Some of her duties include keeping the Development records up to date, coordinating the Senior Banner and Home Congregation Solicitation and processing gifts given by donors to the seminary.  Kim and her husband Dan have two children.

Lindsey is a graduate of High Point University and Boston University School of Theology, where she earned her respective Bachelor of Arts in Religion & History and Master of Theological Studies degrees. Before joining the Development team at Wartburg, she worked as an event and data coordinator for Facing History, an international educational nonprofit based in the Boston, MA area and as an event coordinator on a multi-million dollar fundraising event team at the American Heart Association. She lives in Dubuque with her husband, Tim, who is also on the staff and faculty of the seminary.
