Hispanic Ministry Summer Term
May 25 - July 2, 2014 at LSPS in Austin, Texas
The Hispanic Ministry Summer Term at the Lutheran Seminary Program in the Southwest (LSPS) is designed for ELCA seminary students to develop leadership skills in Hispanic Ministry and build a network of colleagues who share this commitment. The first week involves students in the LSPS Spanish Language and Hispanic Ministry Intensive.Weeks 2 through 6 consist of a weekly seminar with Prof. Jay Alanis and several outstanding guest instructors and contextual education in teaching parishes where students engage in Hispanic ministry under the guidance of supervising pastors. Wartburg Theological Seminary will grant 6 Master of Divinity credits to students successfully completing the course, which are transferable to the student’s seminary. Women of the ELCA Bible Study

This annual seminar held at Wartburg Seminary is designed to provide an in-depth introduction to the September through May study for the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Wartburg Youth Leadership School (WYLS) continues for its 15th year this upcoming summer! High school students from across the country will gather on Wartburg's campus to worship, study, lead, and partake in adventure. Led and guided by Wartburg's students and faculty, this event will help high school students look at their gifts for leadership and explore who God has created them to be. Learn more.
