Beginning August 4, 2025, Wartburg Theological Seminary has entered into a relationship with the company Parchment to collect all transcripts requests and for transcript distribution. You will no longer be contacting the seminary Registrar to request transcripts, as instead all typical requests will be redirected to our Parchment “storefront”.

 

To order a transcript(s) to be sent out electronically or in printed form, please go to the seminary’s Parchment “storefront at

 

You will need to create an account on the Parchment system to place your transcript order. Every transcript requested (including each recipient indicated) will cost you a modest fee, with additional fees added for postal mailed and express-shipped transcripts. You must pay for your transcript(s) at the time of placing your transcript order using a credit card, debit card, or other payment method allowed by Parchment. Wartburg Theological Seminary will then proceed to process your transcript request within approximately three business days or less. No same-day processing can be guaranteed, as new transcript requests will be typically checked for only once a day. There is no distinction between “unofficial” and “official” transcripts ordered through Parchment, as all transcripts are verified to be official transcripts.

 

A SPECIAL NOTE ONLY FOR FAMILY MEMBERS OF A DECEASED ALUM WHO ARE REQUESTING A TRANSCRIPT FOR RESEARCH ON THEIR RELATIVE: Please contact the Registrar directly by emailing registrar@wartburgseminary.edu, by calling (563) 589-0211, or through postal mail to :ATTN: Registrar’s Office, Wartburg Theological Seminary, 333 Wartburg Place, Dubuque, Iowa 52003-7769. With an explanation of the person’s records you are looking for, including demonstrating sufficient need and explanation of your relationship with the alum, an unofficial copy of your relative’s transcript(s) can be provided directly from the Registrar’s Office through a means mutually agreed upon. Depending upon how delivered, a modest fee may be necessary (which is to be determined at the time of the request).

 

CURRENT STUDENTS: The use of Parchment extends to include transcripts needed by your synod candidacy committee and for any scholarship sources requiring a transcript. Please see the transcript web page on the MyWTS web portal for further instructions and to also access unofficial copies of your transcript (in case they can be submitted by you in lieu of ordering an official transcript).
