The Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree program at Wartburg Theological Seminary is an innovative program that prepares leaders for Word and Sacrament ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and many other denominations. Students in the MDiv program participate in a 160+ year tradition of outstanding theological education marked by spiritual formation, contextual learning, life giving relationships, and academic excellence. With a committed faculty and a curricular emphasis in forming leaders for the changing church, Wartburg Seminary continues to produce dedicated and well equipped church leaders who both proclaim and teach the faith.
A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA is a requirement for admission to our Master of Divinity program, but we do have some exceptions for outstanding candidates who do not have a Bachelor’s degree.
