All it took was spending time at the Castle during a Consider Your Call weekend for Alyssa Prinzivalli (she/her/hers), a Master of Arts in Diaconal Ministry student, to realize that Wartburg was the right place for her. Despite the distance from her Northern Virginia home, she was ready and excited to jump headfirst into distance learning if it meant being able to study and be part of the Wartburg community.
Through the Contextual Learning Program, Alyssa has been able to connect with colleagues who are also in ministry, in this capacity she has been able to learn and grow as a person and church leader. The friendships that have been formed through her time at Wartburg are ones Alyssa knows she will cherish for life. As Alyssa anticipates a spring graduation, she credits her time at Wartburg in fostering and strengthening her call to becoming an ordained Deacon.
